The Short Story: Standout senior Makayla McGowan recorded two top-10 finishes to lead the Rams' throwers in their season opener
 
DAY ONE

• Four Rams competed in the weight throw, led by senior McGowan
• McGowan recorded her best throw of the night in the sixth and final round, launching a 17.52m throw to place seventh
• Freshman Guðrún Karítas Hallgrímsdóttir, senior Shannon Moise, and junior Jocelyn Midkiff placed 13^th, 15^th, and 18^th, respectively

 
DAY TWO

• McGowan led a trio of Rams in the weight throw
• McGowan launched a throw of 15.02m to place fourth, while Moise and Midkiff placed ninth and 10^th, respectively
