Elon Invite
Location: Elon, N.C. (JIMMY POWELL TENNIS CENTER)
The Short Story: VCU Men's Tennis got more valuable experience under their belt over three days at the Elon Invite. Two members of the squad (Joaquim Almeida, Tom LeBlanc) competed across the 3 days.
OPENING SERVE

• Freshman Joaquim Almeida was forced to retire in his round of 16 match against Nicholas Campbell (Elon). The hard fought match ended at 3-3 in the third set
• Junior Tom LeBlanc opened with a back and forth loss to 2021 Second Team All-Atlantic 10 selection Alex Wernink (Richmond). LeBlanc continued into the consolation bracket where he faced a narrow defeat to Oliver Nolan (ODU) in three sets
