- American tied the game at 1-1 in the fifth minute as Dellamaggiore collected the ball at the top of the arc and fired a shot underneath Sasha Elliott for the goal
- The Eagles had five shots on goal in the second quarter but Elliott turned all five shot attempts away and the teams went into halftime tied 1-1
- Neither team found much offense in the third quarter with only three total shot attempts combined
