VCU Women's Soccer battled to a 0-0 draw with Davidson Thursday afternoon at Alumni Soccer stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams countered back and forth in the first half, VCU's defense held Davidson in check while the Rams offense recorded four shots, but could not find the back of the net
- VCU gained greater control of possession in the second half, but the Rams struggled to get good looks at the net
- In the 52nd minute, Bagley released a shot from the top of the box that was narrowly deflected by the right hand of the Wildcats junior goalkeeper Mary Grace Brunch
- The Rams had their best look at goal in the 85th minute, freshman Ella Higgins crossed the ball into the box for Jerabek who controlled it with her body and took a shot with her right foot that was deflected by a Davidson defender up into the arms of Brunch
- Searching for a winner in the 103' minute, Jerabek sent a corner into the center of the box. The ball ricocheted off defenders, but could not find the foot of a VCU attacker before being cleared away.
