• The sophomore pairing of Gabriela Davidescu and Luminita Tutunaru opened doubles competition with a 7-5 victory on court one
• Knotted a two, freshman Alessia Ciuca and junior Shivannia Majanna surged ahead and clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 victory on court three
• In singles play, graduate Noumea Witmus earned a dominant 6-0, 6-0 straight-set win on court four
• Freshman Alessia Ciuca continued her stellar freshman campaign with a 6-0, 6-2 straight-set victory on court three
• Senior Paola Exposito Diaz-Delgado secured the match win for VCU with a 6-3, 6-0 victory on court one
