The Short Story: The Rams set a total of six personal best marks while Dasia Mayo leapt her way into a first place finish overall in the high jump on Sunday afternoon.

SPRINTS/HURDLES:

Yasmine Silmon set a personal record in the 400m clocking in at 58.55
A trio of Rams set personal records in the 100m hurdles with Jailah Channer clocking in at 15.52, followed by Michelle Owens and Taylor James.
Simone Pierre joined the trend as she too set a personal best in the 200m with a time of 24.67
Jessica Tucker raced to a time of 12.46 in the 100m

THROWS:

Makayla McGowan reached a mark of 46.66m before reaching a new personal record in the hammer throw with a mark of 49.83m
In the discus Jocelyn Midkiff reached a mark of 44.36m which was good for a fourth place finish

JUMPS:

In the triple jump Raquel Hawkins posted a mark of 11.79m
Lauren Graves vaulted her way to a height of 3.52m in the pole vault
Dasia Mayo won the high jump reaching a mark of 1.63m
Khaila Lyons took home fourth place in the high jump with a mark of 1.58m

The Rams will travel to Harrisonburg, Va. to compete in the JMU Invitational on Saturday, April 17
