- Rams' freshman Alessia Ciuca and Junior Shivani Manjanna clinched the doubles point for the Rams with a 6-2 win on court three
- In singles competition, Diaz Delgado earned a three-set, 6-2, 5-6, 6-2 victory on court one to give VCU a 2-1 lead
- Davidescu prevailed in a three-set match on court three, 6-2, 2-6, 7-6 (8-6)
- West Virginia picked up victories on courts two, three and six to even the score at 3-3
