The Short Story: Despite a career-high 20 saves from goalkeeper Gillian Belfiore, VCU was unable to convert on the offensive end in the 14-8 loss to No. 18 Richmond.

  • Richmond scored three of the final four goals in the half to lead 9-5 at the break
  • The Rams were unable to overcome the halftime deficit, only scoring three goals in the second half despite limiting Richmond to just five
