HOW IT HAPPENED: 

• McCormick opened the scoring in the third minute on an assist from Field to put VCU up 1-0
• VCU doubled its lead just five minutes later as McCormick scored her second of the day in the eighth minute off a rebound and an assist from Wetzel
• The Black and Gold went up 3-0 in the 17^th minute as Sturm scored off a rebound and an assist from McCormick. VCU led Saint Louis 3-0 at halftime
• The Rams scored just over two minutes into the third quarter to make it 4-0 as van Hijfte scored with the assist credited to Gregory
• The Rams limited the Billikens to just one shot on goal for the entire second half to cruise to the win
