- Sophomore David Cierny and senior Timo Zgraggen opened the match with a 6-1 win on court three
- Sophomore Lleyton Cronje and freshman Mario Duron clinched the doubles point for the Rams with a 6-3 victory on court two
- Zgraggen cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win on court six to open singles play
- Cierny extended the VCUÂ lead to three with a 6-1, 6-3 straight-set victory on court five
- Duron and junior Rayane Stable closed out the match with simultaneous victories. The freshman won 6-1, 6-3 on court four while Stable defeated Dukes' freshman Kaipo Marshall 6-2, 6-1 on court threeÂ
