The Short Story: No. 43 VCU Men's Tennis defeated Delaware 4-0 Saturday afternoon at the Thalhimer Tennis Center.

OPENING SERVE
  • With doubles competition tied at 1-1, sophomore Lleyton Cronje and freshman Mario Duron clinched the point for the Rams, prevailing in a tight match on court three, 7-6 (2)
  • Trailing 1-0, senior Inigo Torre Martin and junior Rayane Stable kept the point alive and set up Cronje and Duron's win with a 6-3 victory on court two
  • Cronje extended the Rams' advantage with a 6-1, 6-1 singles win on court one
  • Junior Charles Bertimon followed with a straight-set victory on court two, 6-2, 6-1
  • Stable secured the match win, defeating Delaware junior Luis Molina, 6-3, 6-3 on court five
  • Torre Martin, sophomore David Cierny and senior Quentin Coulaud were all leading in their singles matches when the contest was abandoned due to the VCU victory
