RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Women's Tennis is set to begin the second half of its 2020-21 campaign with a pair of matches in the upcoming days.

On Saturday, The Rams will welcome conference foe Duquesne to the Thalhimer Tennis Center for a 9 a.m. match.Â

VCU will then await James Madison who is set to travel to Richmond for a 1 p.m. match on Tuesday. The teams were originally scheduled to square off on Friday, but the contest was moved due to the inclement weather in the forecast.

VCU enters the weekend at 6-7 following a 5-2 loss to Old Dominion on Saturday.

116th-ranked senior Paola Diaz-Delgado is looking to extend her seven-match singles win streak in the forthcoming matches. Diaz-Delgado began the streak back on Feb. 20 in a 7-0 victory over Davidson.

Duquesne comes into Saturday's match with a 3-1 record following a 7-0 sweep of Saint Francis on Friday.

Led by the play of redshirt senior Jona Roka, James Madison sits at 5-1 on the season. Roka is 5-1 in singles play this season and touts a 4-2 doubles record. The redshirt senior is tied for second in school history with 152 career wins.
