HEAD COACH DAVE GIFFARD
Â
"We weren't very good tonight overall. This group has a ton of talented players who will have nights where they perform very very well, but tonight wasn't one of those. You can always make excuses about some of the circumstances that we are dealing with, but in the end, we need to mature and learn what is required from each of us day in and day out for us to reach our potential. If we are able to do that as a group, then this is going to be an exciting group that could do a ton of great things, if we aren't, then sadly it will be an opportunity missed to do something special.Â
Â
On a positive note, I was really pleased with the clean sheet and a few individual performances that held us together and lifted us in moments.Â
Â
Now we need to learn from this opportunity to play and get ready for the next one on Wednesday if we are able to get there. The biggest cure for what we need is to play more games and learn as we go, so hopefully we will be able to do just that."
UP NEXT:Â
Â
The Rams will travel to Conway, S.C. to take on Costal Carolina on Wednesday, Mar. 3 at 6 p.m.
