- After yet another equalizer from Elon in the 66th minute, Pompeu netted an 83rd minute winner coming off of a breakaway chance

HEAD COACH DAVID GIFFARD
Â
"Tonight we made a step forward from the last game. We created more chances and were more purposeful going forward. We weren't good in the attack, but we were better. Defensively we made steps forward but weren't good yet. In the end, we have a lot of good players who can make plays and tonight we put ourselves in positions to make enough plays to win. We have a long way to go to be what we can, but I felt like we made a good step on both sides of the ball tonight."
