VCU WOMEN'S TENNIS HOSTS PAIR OF WEEKEND MATCHES

Rams will face ETSU at 10 a.m. Saturdays and Temple at 11 a.m. Sunday

RICHMOND, Va. ­­– VCU Women's Tennis will continue its spring schedule with a pair of home matches this weekend. The Rams will host ETSU at 10 a.m. Saturday and Temple at 11 a.m. Sunday. Both matches will be played at the Thalhimer Tennis Center. Spectators are allowed in the tennis center at this time.
 
VCU is coming off a 5-2 loss at Virginia Tech last Saturday. No. 116 senior Paola Diaz-Delgado and junior Shivani Manjanna tallied singles wins in the loss. Manjanna is a perfect 2-0 in singles competition this season.
 
Diaz-Delgado and partner graduate Noumea Witmus have led the team in doubles completion this season. The duo comes into the weekend with a 3-1 record.
 
The match will be the first of the season for ETSU, the Buccaneers held a 9-4 record at the suspension of the 2019-20 season.
 
Sunday's match will also mark the season opener for Temple. The Owls were 5-6 last season.
