RICHMOND, Va. - Graduate Student Paola Exposito Diaz-Delgado has been named to the ITA National Rankings, the organization announced Wednesday.
 
Exposito Diaz-Delgado is ranked no. 61 in the ITA Singles Top 125, an improvement from her preseason ranking of no. 79. This ranking comes after an incredible fall schedule which included finishing as a finalist at the prestigious Battle in The Bay and earning a wild card entry to the ITF W60 in Berkeley, Calif.
 
During this season's fall slate Exposito Diaz-Delgado played multiple ITA ranked opponents including a 0-6, 6-4, 6-1 victory over no. 53 Lisa Zaar (Pepperdine) and a 7-5, 7-5 win against no. 66 Morgan Coppoc (Georgia).
 
Exposito Diaz-Delgado and VCU Women's Tennis will begin their spring schedule in Greenville S.C. on Saturday, January 15th against Furman University.
