The short story: Graduate outside hitter Jovana Vukcevic capped a torrid weekend with 21 kills to lead VCU to a sweep in the Bronx Saturday.
 
OPENING VOLLEY

• Vukcevic enjoyed perhaps her best match as a Ram. The transfer from Florida International hit .500 in the match on 36 attempts. She added three digs in the match
• Freshman outside hitter Kialah Jefferson provided a double-double with 10 kills and 12 digs to the VCU cause. She hit .304 and added a pair of blocks
• Freshman setter Katrina Davis directed the VCU offense to the tune of 39 assists, and added eight digs and a pair of kills
• Senior libero Alyna Draper supplied 20 digs on the back row for the Black and Gold
• Bella Urena paced Fordham with 13 kills and 10 digs

• VCU outhit Fordham .246 to .136 in the match
• The Black and Gold owned a 57-54 advantage in digs and recorded 13 more digs (50-37) than Fordham
