THE SHORT STORY:Â VCU and Saint Joseph's were tied 0-0 at halftime before the Hawks' scored an early third quarter goal to edge the Rams in the A-10 Championship.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Elliott made two big first quarter saves, one in the fifth minute and one in the 10th minute to keep the game 0-0
- Lonica McKinney's shot attempt in the 22nd minute forced a save from Robin Bleekemolen as she was able to redirect a pass on frame
- Elliott was called upon to make two more saves and the game remained 0-0 at halftime
- Saint Joseph's broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute as Miller was able to score from point blank range following an Elliott save
- Hanley had VCU's final effort in the 55th minute as she redirected a cross from Camila Rosenbrock that was saved
