Jasmine Knight blasted a career-high 20 kills in just three sets to lead the Rams to a sweep of Davidson Sunday.

OPENING VOLLEY
- Knight dominated the match from the opening serve. She spiked 12 kills on 13 attempts in the first set alone. The Phoenix, Ariz. native hit .720 in the match on 25 attempts. She also provided four blocks in the match
- Graduate Jovana Vukcevic added 10 kills and hit .333 for the Black and Gold
- Freshman setter Katrina Davis continued her late-season emergence with 41 assists and 12 digs for the Rams
- Hattie Rodriguez recorded 10 kills for Davidson
THE DIFFERENCE
- VCU hit .319 in the match and hit over .300 in each of the opening two sets
- Davidson had no answer for Knight in the first set as she provided 12 of VCU's 20 kills. Knight spiked the final two points in a frame that included seven ties and two lead changes
- In a battle of the A-10's two most prolific digging teams, the Rams came out on top. VCU owned a 55-42 advantage in digs. Three players recorded at least 10, including senior libero Alyna Draper
- The Wildcats hit just .028 in the second and recorded just seven kills in the frame as VCU pushed out to a 2-0 leadÂ

- VCU improved to 16-1 against Davidson since it joined the A-10 in 2014-15
- Sunday was VCU's final home game of the season. The Rams honored their senior class prior to the match
