- Lock Haven cut the VCU lead to just 2-1 after Dana-Lee de Gannes stole a pass and scored from just inside the circle.
- The Rams gave themselves a two goal margin in the 29th minute as van Hijfte collected a loose ball in the circle and found the top corner of the cage to make it 3-1.
