• Junior Anna Rasmussen and freshman Melissa Ifidzhen defeated Holly Hutchinson and Yulia Starodubtseva at No. 1 doubles, 6-3, for their team-leading sixth doubles victory of the season.
• The Monarchs won at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to take the first point of the match.
• ODU won in straight sets at No. 2, No. 3, and No. 5 singles to clinch the team win.
• Rasmussen had won the first set and stormed back to tie the second set at 5-5 against Hutchinson when the match was called.
