The short story: Sophomore Janina Braun continued her dominant singles play and led the Rams to a 3-2 victory over Temple on Jan. 29 at the Thalhimer Tennis Center. The Black and Gold are now off to a solid 4-0 start in dual matches this season.
FIRST SERVE
- Darya Berezhnaya and Noumea Witmus won the lone doubles match to give the Rams an early 1-0 lead.
- Braun picked up the next point by defeating Temple's Monet Stuckey-Willis in consecutive sets, 6-4, 6-2.
- Braun is now 8-1 in overall singles matches in 2016-17, with a perfect 2-0 dual record.
- Sophomore Magda Aubets collected a win in singles play. She now possesses an 8-3 overall singles record.
