Rams sweep UMass, 4-0, en route to third straight A10 title

  • The Short Story: The VCU women's tennis won its third straight Atlantic 10 Championship with a 4-0 win over UMass on Sunday afternoon. The Rams have never lost an individual singles or doubles match in their three-year history in the A-10 Tournament. Senior Cindy Chala and junior Olga Barshcheuskaya picked up singles victories before VCU clinched the match with an injury default at #6 singles. With the win, the Rams clinched their 10th straight NCAA Tournament appearance and 17th appearance overall.
