Tyler Wrenn

Tyler Wrenn joined VCU in March 2022 as Assistant Director of Sports Performance and works closely with the field hockey and lacrosse programs. 
 
Prior to VCU, Wrenn served as Director of Sports Performance of Longwood from 2015-22, where he worked with the men’s basketball, baseball and softball programs while assisting with several others. 
 
In 2015, Wrenn worked at Newberry College as a Strength, Conditioning and Sports Performance Coach, working with the Wolves’ 19 intercollegiate athletic programs.
 
Wrenn began his career as a Sports Performance Intern at VCU, as well as a Sports Medicine Strength and Conditioning Specialist for Johnston-Willis, from 2014-15.
 
He graduated from Longwood with a B.S. in Kinesiology in 2013 and earned his M.S. in Exercise Science from California University of Pennsylvania in 2017.
