Tyler Fisher joined VCU Athletics in 2025 and serves as the Student-Athlete Academic Coordinator for baseball, volleyball, and women’s soccer, where he supports student-athletes with academic planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and tutoring coordination.
He previously served three years as an Academic Counselor for Football at the University of Connecticut from 2022-25. During the 2021-22 academic year, he was an Academic Advisor Assistant for Old Dominion University.
A former collegiate football player at Old Dominion, he earned a B.S. in Marketing with a minor in Business Analytics and later completed a Master’s in Health Promotion at Concord University, where he also coached running backs from 2018–2020.
Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Tyler is committed to helping student-athletes succeed academically and athletically.
