Shae Ness joined VCU in August 2023 as a Student Athlete Development Intern. In December 2023, she was elevated to a full-time Student Athlete Development Coordinator.
Shae helps design and deliver programming across career development, leadership, and community engagement. She advises VCU’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) teaches first-year courses, coordinates community service initiatives, and connects student-athletes with professional opportunities throughout their collegiate careers.
Ness graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science from Toledo in May 2022. While at Toledo, she was a student equipment manager for all sports and spent a season as a student manager for the women’s basketball team.
She added her M.S. in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University in December 2023.
