Rilee Morrow joined VCU Athletics as Assistant Director of Donor Relations in 2026, where she supports donor engagement, stewardship, and special events to enhance relationships with VCU Athletics supporters.
Prior to arriving in Richmond, Morrow served as a Development Intern with Kansas Athletics, where she managed donor communications, supported donor engagement initiatives, led stewardship efforts for visiting donors, and assisted with special events, including Hall of Fame inductions. She also supported the planning and execution of donor engagement efforts for the August 2025 grand opening of the new David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.
Morrow helped grow student donor engagement by conducting outreach to more than 250 students and assisted with events aimed at building a pipeline for post-graduation giving. In addition, she served as a Development Student Ambassador, supported game day hospitality for Kansas Men’s Basketball, and served as a liaison between premium ticket holders, donors, and event staff.
She brings additional leadership experience in event and facility operations, including roles with Sporting Kansas City and Sports Pavilion Lawrence. Morrow earned her Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the University of Kansas.
