After a previous stint with coach Phil Martelli Jr. at Bryant, Harrison Chipkin joined the VCU staff prior to the 2025-26 season as video coordinator.
Chipkin has served in a video production role at Florida Gulf Coast and Bryant before joining the VCU staff. In Fort Myers, he served as the Director of Video Operations for the Eagles men’s basketball team. In that role, he captured practices, workouts, and games in preparation for self-scouting and opponents' scouting reports. In his one season, the Eagles finished 22-12 with a 10-6 conference record.
During the 2022-23 season, Chipkin was the Director of Scouting and Video Analysis at Bryant. In Smithfield, the Bulldogs finished with a 17-13 overall record. That season, Bryant defeated ACC foe Syracuse at the JMA Wireless Dome.
In addition to his video roles in Fort Myers and Smithfield, Chipkin has collegiate coaching experience at Broward and Albertus Magnus, as well as a high school head coaching role at Hopkins School in New Haven, Conn.
The Rocky Hill, Conn., native spent four seasons as a member of the men’s basketball team at Western New England from 2013-16. He earned a degree in business administration, with a focus on marketing and sports management, in 2016, followed by a master’s degree in business administration from Nova Southeastern in 2018.
