Catherine Policastro was named Assistant AD for Ticket Operations in June of 2024, and oversees all day-to-day aspects of VCU Athletics' Ticket Office.
Policastro, who joined VCU Athletics in 2017, served as Assistant AD for External Operations from 2023-24, and was Executive Coordinator to the Vice President and Director of Athletics from 2018-23. Previously, she worked as Special Events and Fulfillment Director for the Ram Athletic Fund for one year.
Prior to VCU, Catherine spent one year as the Suites and Events Graduate Intern for the Virginia Athletics Foundation. In this role, she provided hospitality to suite holders for football, basketball and baseball games at the University of Virginia and assisted with the coordination of special events for the VAF.
Catherine got her start in college athletics as an undergraduate student at James Madison University, where she worked in both the Athletics Communications and Student-Athlete Services offices. Additionally, she served as the founding president of the school’s chapter of the Association for Women in Sports Media from 2014-2016.
A native of Bayonne, New Jersey, Catherine received her Master’s of Higher Education, concentrating in collegiate athletic administration, from the University of Virginia in 2017 and graduated cum laude from James Madison University with a Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts & Design in 2016.
