Andrew McNutt joined the VCU Sports Medicine Staff in August of 2023. He is responsible for the Men's Soccer team and previously worked with the Women's Tennis team. His daily duties include management and prevention of all injuries and illnesses for the men's soccer team, as well as coordinating sports medicine student workers for the department.Â
Before joining VCU, Andrew has spent time working with Binghamton University covering Track and Field and Cross Country in 2019, as well as working with Virginia State University from 2022-2023 where he worked Track and Field, Basketball, Football, and Baseball.Â
Andrew received his Bachelors in Athletic Training from James Madison University (2019), and received his Masters in Exercise Science from Liberty University (2023).
He is a licensed Athletic Trainer by the Virginia Board of Health Professionals and a Certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. He holds certifications and licenses for Structure & Function Dry Needling (Level 1) and Fascial Manipulation (Level 1a/1b).Â
