Adam Richardson joined VCU Athletics in 2022 and is currently serving as Assistant Athletic Director for Business Services. His current role involves responsibility for all day to day financial functions of the department including budgeting, reporting, audit, HR, and scholarship administration.
Prior to VCU he spent five years working in a similar capacity at the University of Richmond. Richardson received a B.A. in History and Religion from Wake Forest University and a M.Ed. in Sport Leadership from the VCU Center for Sport Leadership.
A Richmond native, Richardson is active in his hometown community. An avid golfer and distance runner, he lives in the West End with his wife Greta and daughter Sophie.
