2017/SENIOR

• Played only twelve games.
• He had an average ERA of 10.03
• He had 12 strikeouts on the season including four at Charleston So. (2/25/17).
• He also had a total of 11.2 innings pitched this season.

2016/JUNIOR

• Appeared in 30 games, all in relief and had 2 saves.
• Led the team with three runners picked off and 30 appearances.
• Was top five on the team in ERA (3.91), opposing batting average (.259), wins (6), innings pitched (69.0), strikeouts (55), and walks allowed (19).
• Pitched eight innings of relief allowing just 2 runs and striking out six while getting the win at George Washington (4/30).
• Allowed no runs over five innings while striking out three against St. Bonaventure (3/26).
• As a relief pitcher, pitched in 10 games where he three three innings or more.

2015/SOPHOMORE

• Appeared in four games for the Rams, collecting a 6.75 ERA.
• Pitched in 4.0 innings, allowing five hits, three runs, four walks, and two strikeouts.
• Tossed a healthy inning of zeros against Massachusetts on March 27.

2014/FRESHMAN

• Made his first appearance as a Ram on March 12 against Virginia Tech. The reliever went 2.0 innings and allowed two runs.
• Proved to be a steady option out of the VCU bullpen logging 18.1 innings in 10 relief appearances.
• The righty didn't allow an earned run in five out of his 10 appearances.

HIGH SCHOOL

• Graduated from Trinity Episcopal School where he played baseball all four years and one year of JV volleyball
• Helped his team make three appearances in the state tournament, reaching the state final in 2013
• Captained the Titans his final two years as a prep
• Given the Titan Award after his junior season for his leadership
• Fanned 62 batters in 41.1 innings as a junior
• Named team MVP his senior year on the diamond
• Awarded Prep League Player of the Year, first-team All-State and second-team All-Metro after his final season at Trinity Episcopal
• Went 7-1 during his senior season with a 1.62 ERA
• Played summer ball for RBA West (2012), in the Commonwealth Games for the central Virginia team (2012) and for American Legion Post 186 (2013)
• Earned the Bill Davies Award for school spirit and enthisasm his final year at Trinity Episcopal

• Grandfather Milton Jamer played for the Philadelphia Athletics and father Matthew Jamer Sr. played catcher for Wesley College
• Has one sister, Heather (23), a graduate of James Madison and current graduate student at West Virginia
