- Highly decorated athlete in both soccer and basketball
- Earned first-team All-District all four years; named first-team All-Region in final three seasons and earned second-team All-Region honors as a freshman
- As a junior and senior, in addition to district and state recognition, was also tabbed All-State and All-Tidewater
- Scored a goal in both her junior and senior seasons
- Played basketball for 14 years as a point guard
- In high school, was a three-time All-District honoree (twice first-team) and two-time All-Region honoree (once first-team)

- Born August 4, 2008, in Newport News, Virginia
- Daughter of Makeyla and Antonio James
- Has one sister, Akeylah
- Her sister, Akeylah, plays flag football at Winston Salem State and her cousin, Adriana Lightfoot, plays soccer and flag football at Chowan
- Part of her gameday ritual is watching Grey’s Anatomy
- Enjoys building Legos or crafting on off-days
- Favorite soccer memories are playing in the ECNL East vs West coast game and playing in Warhill’s soccer Olympic Games as a junior
- All-time favorite athlete is A’ja Wilson
- Plans to major in radiation science
