Biography

WHILE AT VCU:
· Played in all 18 games, starting in 13 contests
· Earned her first points as a Ram off of two assists, one of which was against CAA foe, Drexel

WHILE AT BRIDGEPORT:
· Played in 19 of Bridgeport's 21 games in 2009, leading the Purple Knights to the Second Round of the NCAA Division II Tournament
· Third on the team in goals with eight, while also tallying two assists
· Two of her eight goals proved to be game-winners

 

PRIOR TO COLLEGE:
· Played in FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup 2008, representing New Zealand
· Four-year letterwinner at Freyburg High School
· Played for the Glenfield Rovers in Auckland
· Member of Manawatu Regional Team, which participates in tournaments again other regions throughout the area

GETTING TO KNOW LEAH:
· Daughter of Diane and David Gallie
· Has three older siblings, Sarah , Rebekah and Daniel
· Undecided on her major
· Came to VCU thanks in large part to the influence of former Ram and current captain of the New Zealand national team, Hayley Moorwood
