Biography

THE BASICS
  • Athletic guard with elite sharpshooting ability
  • Height creates mismatches for opponents, can cause trouble on both sides of the ball
  • Joined VCU following two seasons at LSU, where he averaged 6.8 points and shot 40 percent (68-of-172) from 3-point range in 54 games. Made 18 starts
REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2024-25)
  • Settled in to become a critical rotational player off the bench in Feburary and March
  • Appeared in 31 games and averaged 5.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game; Shot .452 from the field
  • Reached double figures seven times, including a season-high 15 on three occasions
  • Scored 11 points and corralled four rebounds in VCU's NCAA Tournament Second Round contest against Illinois (March 21)
  • Provided a spark with eight points, four rebounds, three steals and three blocks to help lift VCU to a win over Dayton in the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship Game (March 15)

  • Made eight starts in 23 games; Became a fixture in the rotation by the end the year
  • Averaged 5.7 points and 1.5 rebounds, playing 14.3 minutes per game
  • Snatched four steals against Mississippi State (Feb. 8)
  • Scored a season-high 15 points against Texas A&M (Feb. 11)

  • Was a five-star recruit coming out of DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Maryland
  • Rated the No. 23 prospect in the Rivals150, and ranked No. 34 by both ESPN and 247Sports.com rankings
  • Averaged 19.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.0 blocks per game at DeMatha
