THE BASICS

  • Explosive point guard with a knack for scoring the basketball. Should pair well with VCU’s up-tempo systems.
  • Three-star recruit who chose VCU over interest from Nebraska, Kansas State, Dayton, East Carolina and others.

2017-2018 (FRESHMAN)

  • Appeared in 32 of 33 games as a freshman and averaged 7.4 minutes, 1.4 points and 0.5 rebounds per game
  • Scored two points and dished out a pair of assists in his collegiate debut versus Grambling State on Nov. 10
  • Poured in a career-best seven points off the bench in a win over Cal at the Maui Invitational on Nov. 21
  • Scored five points in a win at UMass on Feb. 21

PRIOR TO VCU

  • Averaged 36 points, seven rebounds and four assists as a senior for Farmville Central.
  • Led Farmville Central to a 28-0 record and a North Carolina 2A State Championship as a junior in 2015-16 after averaging 25 points per game. He was named Tournament MVP for his efforts.
  • Once scored 51 points in a single high school contest.
  • Named to North Carolina All-State Team – for all divisions – by the Associated Press following 2016-17 season.
  • Starred for Garner Road AAU program.
