Ashley McGlon was hired as VCU's Video Coordinator in July 2010. McGlon joined VCU after working with Mississippi State University's Women's Basketball program as a graduate manager. At VCU, McGlon will oversee the filming of games and practices in addition to film exchange and recuriting materials.

At Mississippi State, McGlon was tasked with filming and breaking down practices and games, while also helping out with day-to-day tasks alongside the Director of Basketball Operations. She also worked in the same position as an undergraduate with the Bulldogs where as she was part of a staff that reached two NCAA National Championship games and won both a regular-season SEC Championship and an SEC Tournament Championship. She graduated in May 2018 with a Bachelors of Art in Communication with a concentration in Journalism and a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology with a Sports Studies concentration.
