Prior to VCU:
- Competed for two seasons at High Point
- Member of Big South champion 4x100 and 4x400 team at High Point. Qualified for NCAA Regionals in 4x400
- Silver medal in Big South Outdoor Championships for 400m run
- Silver medal in Big South Indoor Championships for 400m and 4x400 as a freshman
- School record holder for the 300m run and state champion at Glen Allen HS in Glen Allen, Va.
