2015-16: Senior 

  • Finished career with five individual tournament wins second only to John Rollins (six) 
  • VCU's No.1 career scoring average (72.25) 
  • Voted Va Lottery Athlete of the Week for his play at the Cabarrus Irish Creek Intercollegiate (4/10) where he shot (69-70-71=210) for second place. 
  • Atlantic 10 Championship at Grand Cypress Golf Club (5/1) 
  • Led VCU in scoring average for the fourth straight season

2015: SUMMER

  • Fired a course-record 62 in the final round and finished 5-under to capture the 75th Monroe Invitational at the Monroe Golf Club in Pittsford, N.Y. Previous winners include Dustin Johnson, Chris DiMarco and Jeff Sluman. 
  • Shot 65 in the final round, a course record, to win the U.S. Amateur Sectional at Richmond's Willow Oaks Country Club. The victory earned Ball a fourth trip to the U.S. Amateur Championship. 

2014-15: JUNIOR

  • Became VCU's first conference champ in 13 years. 
  • Set a VCU single-season record for scoring average (71.73). 
  • Tied a VCU 54-hole scoring record when he shot 14-under (66-68-68=202) at the 2015 Atlantic 10 Championship at Harmony Preserve (4/10). 
  • Captured the 2015 Seahawk Invitational (77-68-71=216) at the Country Club of Landfall (3/29).
  • Recorded five top-5 finishes in seven spring tournaments. 
  • Led VCU in scoring average for the third straight season.
  • Shot par or better in 21 of 33 rounds.

2013-14: SOPHOMORE

  • His 72.94 scoring average led the team for the second straight season and is the lowest by a Ram since Lanto Griffin in 2008-09.
  • Recorded his first collegiate victory at the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate (Feb. 17-18) after shooting 4-under (73-73-66=212).
  • Placed fifth (68-79-73=220) at the 2014 Atlantic 10 Championship at TPC Tampa Bay (April 25-27).
  • Was VCU's top finisher at the NCAA San Antonio Regional at Briggs Ranch Golf Club, placing 31st (75-70-76=221).
  • Grabbed runner-up honors at the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular (March 14-15) after firing a final-round 67.
  • Started all 12 tournaments for the Rams and recorded seven top-15 finishes.

2013: SUMMER

  • Advanced to the quarterfinals of the 113th U.S. Amateur Championship at The Country Club in Brookline, Mass. Along the way, he topped Max Orrin, the seventh-ranked amateur in the world 2 and 1 in the round of 32 of match play.
  • Defeated Chris Kapsak 1-up to capture the Richmond Golf Association Amateur Championship at Willow Oaks Country Club.

2012-13: FRESHMAN

  • Enrolled at VCU in January of 2013, in time for the Spring Semester.
  • Led the Rams in scoring average (73.53) in six spring tournaments.
  • Placed second overall at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate and recorded three top-10 finishes overall.
  • Fired a 3-under 67 in the second round at the Dell Walker Intercollegiate.
PRIOR TO VCU:
  • Ranked as high as No. 2 nationally in the Golfweek U.S. Junior Rankings in 2011.
  • Three-time Virginia Golf Association (VSGA) Junior Golfer of the Year.
  • First four-time VSGA Junior Champion in history, including match and stroke play titles in 2012.
  • Shot a tournament-record 63 in the final round of the 2012 VSGA Junior Stroke Play Championship on the way to a seven-stroke victory.
  • In 2011, he won seven major tournaments and was runner-up at five others. Posted a 69.7 stroke average that year.
  • Placed third at the 2011 U.S. Junior Amateur Match Play Championship and eighth in stroke play. Was also 17th in stroke play at the 2010 U.S. Juniors.
  • Has twice carded 62 in competition.
