THE BASICS

  • Tenacious rebounder and skilled passer. Possesses soft hands and solid footwork; left-handed
  • Three-star recruit ranked third in the state of Vermont by 247Sports
  • Chose VCU over interest from Kansas State, Boston College, Temple and others
  • Reshaped his physique and shed nearly 40 pounds prior to freshman season  

2018-19 (SOPHOMORE)

  • 2019 Atlantic 10 All-Tournament Team
  • Rams' most improved player in 2018-19. Saw averages jump to 10.0 points (from 3.1) and 7.4 rebounds (from 3.0) per game over his freshman year
  • Started all 33 games in the post for the Rams
  • Supplied a team-high six double-doubles
  • Exploded for a 26-point, 22-rebound effort against Rhode Island in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 Tournament (March 15); It was the first 20-20 game in A-10 Tournament history and the first by a Ram since Kendrick Warren in 1991. His 22 rebounds were the most by a VCU player since Ren Watson grabbed 22 during the 1978-79 season
  • Supplied 10 points and 16 rebounds in the Rams' 54-53 victory at Texas (Dec. 5)
  • Recorded 20 points and 12 rebounds in a road triumph at Duquesne (Jan. 26)
  • Turned in 16 points, 12 rebounds, three blocks and two steals against Charleston (Dec. 15)

2017-2018 (FRESHMAN)

  • Appeared in all 33 games and averaged 3.1 points and 3.0 rebounds per game; Blocked 17 shots, second-most on the team
  • Shot .535 (46-of-86) from the floor
  • Averaged 12.4 rebounds per 40 minutes, the second-best mark on the team
  • Produced a season-high 11 points in a victory over George Washington on Jan. 20
  • Scored 10 points, grabbed seven rebounds and blocked two shots at No. 19 Seton Hall on Dec. 9
  • Provided eight points and six boards against Texas on Dec. 5
PRIOR TO VCU
  • Saw his recruiting ramp up following his performance at the 2016 EYBL Peach Jam, in which is averaged 15.8 points and 11.8 rebounds in five games for BABC
  • Named to 2016-17 Lakes Region League All-Conference Team after he helped Vermont Academy to a 19-11 mark
  • Selected to 2016-17 All-New England Prep School Athletic Council Second Team
