Biography

THE BASICS 

  • Gifted shooter who has developed an advanced floater to his arsenal 
  • Possesses sneaky athleticism on drives to the basket
  • Has shown the ability to play at either guard spot  

2018-19 (JUNIOR)

  • Suited up in all 33 games, including three starts, and averaged 3.7 points and 1.6 rebounds in 14.6 minutes
  • Shot a team-high .376 (32-of-85) from 3-point range
  • Topped double figures on four occasions
  • Knocked down four 3-pointers and scored a season-high 14 points in a win at Richmond (March 2)
  • Provided 11 points and connected on 3-of-4 attempts from beyond the arc in the Rams' NCAA First Round contest against UCF (March 22)
  • Shot 5-of-7 from the floor and supplied 13 points against St. John's at the Legend's Classic (Nov. 20)

2017-2018 (SOPHOMORE)

  • Appeared in 29 games and made 13 starts for the Rams; Averaged 5.8 points and 1.3 rebounds per game
  • Shot .359 (46-of-128) from 3-point range on the year; His 46 triples ranked second on the team
  • Buried 5-of-7 three pointers on the way to a career-high 17 points against Marquette on Nov. 20
  • Knocked down a career-high of five 3-point field goals and finished with 17 points at LaSalle on Jan. 6
  • Scored in double digits five times

2016-17 (FRESHMAN)

  • Appeared in 34 of 35 contests, including four starts, and averaged 2.1 points, while shooting .356 (21-of-59) from beyond the arc
  • Became the first true freshman to start the season opener for VCU since Bradford Burgess in 2008 when he suited up against UNC Asheville on Nov. 11
  • Scored a season-high 10 points on Dec. 27 against Howard
  • Knocked down 3-of-5 three-pointers and finished with nine points in win at Richmond on Feb. 17

PRIOR TO VCU

  • Three-star prospect who chose VCU over Texas A&M, Kansas State and Iowa State among others. 
  • Three-time State Champion for Riverside Academy in Louisiana. 
  • Four-time First Team All-State and All-Metro selection.
  • Averaged 17.5 points and 11.3 rebounds per game his senior year and 24.5 points and 11.3 rebounds per game as a junior earning Class 2A Player of the Year.
