THE BASICS
  • Transfer from Kansas State; Will exercise additional year of eligibility in 2021-22 due to COVID-19 pandemic
  • Veteran post presence with 100 games of collegiate experience under his belt
  • Will help anchor VCU in the paint 
2020-21 (SENIOR)
  • Started 25 games and averaged a career-best 6.5 points, while shooting .552 (69-of-125) from the field in 16.1 minutes
  • Topped double figures four times, including a season-high 15 points in a crucial road win at Rhode Island on Feb. 3
  • Scored 13 points and connected on 5-of-7 field goals at Penn State on Dec. 3
  • Hauled in a career-best tying seven rebounds and scored six points to help lift VCU past Davidson in the Atlantic 10 Conference semifinals (March 6)
PRIOR TO VCU
  • Appeared in 100 games, including three starts for Kansas State from 2017-20; Averaged 2.45 points and 1.9 rebounds in 10.9 minutes per game, while shooting .519 from the floor
  • Enjoyed a career year as a junior in 2019-20, averaging 3.7 points and 2.6 rebounds in 16.6 minutes per game. Shot .500 from the field and .686 from the line. Grabbed 20 steals
  • Poured in a career-high 17 points against Saint Louis last season (Dec. 21)
  • Named to the Fall 2019 Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll
  • Received the 2018 Bob Boozer Courage Award
  • Appeared in all 36 games in 2017-18, which tied him with Wally Judge for the most ever by a K-State freshman
  • Starred at Madison Prep (2013-15) and Vashon (2015-2017) High Schools in his hometown of St. Louis, Mo.; Captured back-to-back State Championships with Vashon. Two-time All-State selection
