Biography

The Basics 

  • As a senior, Billbury helped lead the Hornets to a 21-0 record
  • Second straight Class 5A state championship by averaging 16.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.1 steals per game
  • State Tournament MVP honors after scoring 20 points and grabbing nine rebounds in the title game against El Reno (ORU)
  • shot 52 percent from the field as a senior, including 46 percent from 3-point range
  • Third team All-State and second-team All-Metro honors from the Tulsa World
  • The Daily Oklahoman named him to their 5A All-State first team
  • Junior season Billbury averaged 11.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.7 steals in 29 games. 
  • He chose ORU after receiving offers from Northern Illinois, UTSA and others.

  • Started all 28 games in which he played 
  • Second on the team in scoring (14.4 ppg) and led the team in total rebounds (206) and rebounds per game (7.4)
  • The only player in the Summit League to finish the year in the top 10 in points, rebounds, assists and steals

  • 12 made free throws in a PSO Mayor’s Cup win over Tulsa (11/15)

  • Shortest player to ever lead ORU in rebounding for an entire season

  • Season high 15 rebounds against Saint Louis (11/21)
