Biography

THE BASICS
  • Transfer from Providence who appeared in 51 games, including 27 starts, for the Friars from 2018-21; Will have at least two years of eligibility remaining
  • Long, left-handed forward who can run the floor and play inside-out. Large wingspan is an asset on defense
  • Was ranked the No. 34 power forward in his class nationally, as well as the No. 5 player in the South Carolina by 247Sports; Drew interest from Providence, Miami, Rutgers, Georgetown, Arizona State and others while in high school
2020-21 (JUNIOR) – AT PROVIDENCE
  • Averaged 6.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 16.9 minutes per game in 16 contests, including eight starts, before an eye injury ended his season in February; Shot .543 (38-of-70) from the field, including .409 (9-of-22) from 3-point range
  • Topped double figures on three occasions, including an 11-point effort at Marquette on Jan. 12; Knocked down 3-of-3 from beyond the 3-point arc in that contest
  • Dished out five assists at Xavier on Jan. 10
2019-20 (SOPHOMORE) – AT PROVIDENCE
  • Missed 25 games due to injury
  • Appeared in five games, including one start, and averaged 2.2 points and 2.2 rebounds per game
  • Scored seven points and grabbed four rebounds against St. Peter’s on Nov. 16
2018-19 (FRESHMAN) – AT PROVIDENCE
  • Saw action in 30 contests and made 18 starts. Averaged 2.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 11.5 minutes per game. Shot .440 (33-of-75) from the field. Blocked 27 shots
  • Scored a season-high seven points and hauled in four rebounds at Boston College on Dec. 4
  • Supplied seven points and a career-high nine rebounds against Central Connecticut on Dec. 16
PRIOR TO COLLEGE
  • Piled up more than 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 100 blocks for Conway High School in Conway, S.C.
  • Averaged 19.1 points, 11.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.0 blocks per game as a senior
  • Voted a Class 5A All-Star by South Carolina state basketball coaches
  • Averaged 9.7 points and 4.7 rebounds for Gardner Road on the Adidas Gauntlet AAU circuit
  • Also competed in the high jump for the track & field team
