2015-16: JUNIOR

  • Appeared in all 36 games and earned 34 starts for the Black and Gold. 
  • Second on team in points per game (11.3). 
  • Scored a career-high 29 points on 9-of-14 shooting in a road win against Richmond (1/16). 
  • Top performances came in the NCAA tournament where he had 21 points and eight assists in a win against Oregon State (3/18) and 22 points and nine assists in a losing effort to No. 7 Oklahoma (3/20).
  • Recorded first career double-double against Richmond (2/19) notching 13 points and 10 assists.  
  • Registered 11 games scoring more than 15 points. 

2014-15: SOPHOMORE

  • Appeared in 35 games for the second straight season.
  • Made 16 starts, including his first againt Tennessee in front of the home crowd (11/14).
  • Scored a career-high 26 points, dished out three assists, and was 10-11 from the foul line versus La Salle (2/11).
  • Finished with 16 points, five assists, and three rebounds at Duquesne (1/17).
  • Had back-to-back 15 point games against UMass (2/21) and Richmond (2/25).

2013-14: FRESHMAN

  • Appeared in 35 games, averaging 16.1 minutes
  • Played 13 minutes and scored six points in his first collegiate appearance (11/8).
  • Finished with 16 points, two rebounds and four steals in a 72-57 victory over Wofford (12/17).
  • Scored 14 points, adding 5 steals, and was a perfect 7-7 from the foul line versus St. Bonaventure (3/8).
  • Scored 13 points in games against Eastern Kentucky (12/5), Northern Iowa (12/14), and Stephen F. Austin (3/21).

PRIOR TO VCU:

  • Consensus three-star guard
  • At the State Farm Tournament of Champions in November of 2012, Lewis set a Tennessee state record with 50 points in a win over Grandview. 
  • Ranked as one of the top-10 players in the state of Tennessee by ESPN.com.
  • During his junior year, he averaged 19.6 ppg, 3.9 spg, 3.7 apg when he led the Cougars to 21 victories.
  • Drew interest on the recruiting circuit from Georgia, Wichita State, Northern Iowa, Alabama and N.C. State, among others.
