THE BASICS

  • Long, athletic post player who has shown elite shot-blocking ability. Possesses 7-4 wingspan; Versatile offensive player who can score both inside and out
  • Can be dangerous on lob plays 
  • Chose VCU over offers from Rutgers, Georgia, Virginia Tech and a number of other programs

2020-21 (SOPHOMORE)
  • Named to 2020-21 Atlantic 10 Conference All-Defensive Team
  • Appeared in all 26 contests and started the final 11 games of the year; Averaged career-bests of 6.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game. Shot .583(67-of-115) from the floor
  • Ranked second in the A-10 and 21st nationally in blocked shots per game
  • Recorded a pair of double-doubles, including a 13-point, 10-rebound effort in his first career start on Jan. 30 against La Salle
  • Blocked a career-high five shots in just 18 minutes in a win over Dayton on Jan. 23; Blocked four or more shots in a game seven times
2019-20 (FRESHMAN)
  • Saw action in 24 games off the bench and averaged 3.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 7.1 minutes; Blocked 15 shots
  • Connected on 30-of-48 attempts from the floor, a .625 clip
  • Scored a season-high 10 points on 4-of-5 field goals in a win over George Washington (Feb. 29)
  • Scored eight points, blocked four shots and corralled three rebounds in a triumph over Jacksonville State (Nov. 17)
  • Provided six points, five rebounds a block and a steal in a season-high 17 minutes at Davidson (March 6)

PRIOR TO VCU

  • Averaged 10.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.2 blocks in 2018-19 for Springfield Central High School; Helped lead the Golden Eagles for the MIAA State Division I Quarterfinals
  • Blocked 22 shots in a single high school game as a junior
  • Led his teams to a pair of Western Massachusetts titles
  • Starred for NE6 Hoops AAU program under Coach Chris Sparks
