2015-16: Junior

  • Scored a career-high 16 points and added five steals in a 93-71 win against Duquesne (1/20). 
  • Recorded a career-high seven steals in a win over Rhode Island (2/16). 
  • Notched a career-high eight rebounds in a win over 84-71 won over St. Bonaventure (1/24). 

2014-15: SOPHOMORE

  • Played in 33 games, notching seven starts.
  • Earned his first collegiate start in at Davidson (3/5).
  • His 14 points and seven rebounds at George Washington (2/14) were career-highs for Brooks in both categories.
  • Ended the season with 14 points, three rebounds, an assist and a steal versus Ohio State (3/19).
  • Dished out a career high three assists in a win over UMES (11/20).

2013-14: FRESHMAN

  • Appeared in 24 contests for the Rams
  • Scored 14 points in an exhibition againt California (Pa.) (11/2).
  • Scored his first career points against Illinois State (11/8) in his first appearance for VCU during the 2013-14 season. 

PRIOR TO VCU:

  • Consensus three-star guard who brings a speedy, defensive presence to VCU's Havoc style of play. 
  • Dave Telep, ESPN's Director of Scouting, ranked Brooks' senior campaign 10th on his list of "Top 10 Under the Radar Seasons"
  • During his senior year, Brooks paced a Highlanders squad that finished 22-8 and was ranked No.1 in the state of Florida for much of the season.
  • At the City of Palms Tournament in December of 2012, Brooks helped his squad to two wins and averaged 23 points and 5.3 steals per game in three games at the prestigious tournament. 
  • In 2012, Brooks helped nationally ranked Lake Wales to a 28-4 record and a Florida Class 5A State Championship.
  • Drew interest on the recruiting circuit from South Carolina, South Florida, Illinois State, Central Florida, Arkansas and others.
