THE BASICS

  • Versatile, athletic wing who can impact the game on both ends of the floor. Solid passer and ball handler.
  • Third-highest recruit to sign with VCU since scouting services began ranking players.
  • Consensus 4-star recruit. Ranked No. 36 nationally in the class of 2016 by 247sports.com, No. 43 by Scout, No. 44 by Rivals and No. 59 by ESPN.com. Also rated the No. 2 recruit in Virginia by most services.
  • Chose VCU after receiving interest from Tennessee, Rutgers, South Carolina, Clemson and Virginia Tech, among others. 

2018-19 (JUNIOR)

  • 2019 All-Atlantic 10 Conference Third Team; 2018-19 Preseason All-Atlantic 10 Third Team
  • Started all 33 games and averaged 11.3 points and 3.9 rebounds per game
  • Led team with 63 three-pointers
  • Scored in double-digits in 20 games
  • Poured in a season-high 23 points against Charleston (Dec. 15)
  • Knocked down a season-high 5-of-7 from beyond the 3-point arc in a critical road win at Dayton (Feb. 16)

2017-2018 (SOPHOMORE)

  • Averaged 12.9 points, second on the team, and 3.7 rebounds in 33 games, all starts
  • Scored in double digits 23 times
  • Shot a team-high .418 (79-of-189) from 3-point range
  • His 79 treys rank ninth in school single-season history and are the most ever by a VCU sophomore
  • Erupted for a career-high 27 points and 11 rebounds to lead Rams past Cal on Nov. 21 at the Maui Invitational
  • Averaged 16.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and shot .513 (20-of-39) from the field in three games at the Maui Invitational

  • Averaged 4.6 points and 1.8 rebounds in 20 games; Scored in double digits three times
  • Connected on 15-of-33 three-pointers (.455) 
  • Missed 15 games due to a broken right foot suffered Dec. 30 at George Mason
  • Became the first VCU freshman to record a double-double since Larry Sanders in 2007-08 when he provided 14 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Binghamton on Nov. 18
  • Scored a career-high 15 points, including three straight 3-pointers, to lift the Rams past George Mason in the A-10 Semifinals on March 10 

PRIOR TO VCU

  • Led Hargrave Military Academy to a National Prep Championship and a 47-1 record as a postgraduate in 2015-16. Scored 27 points in an 85-74 win over St. Thomas More School (Conn.) in the Championship Game and was named Tournament MVP for his efforts.
  • Averaged nearly 22 points per game for Hargrave in 2015-16.
  • Spent 2014-15 campaign at West Oaks Academy in Orlando, Florida and began his high school career at Lake Marion in Santee, South Carolina.  
  • Named to 2015 Prep Hoops Florida All-State Team after guiding West Oaks to a 32-4 record.
  • Provided 12 points and 12 assists in the Championship Game to lift Lake Marion to a South Carolina 2A Championship in 2013.
  • Named South Carolina First Team All-State in 2013.
