Greg Goldin returned to VCU in 2015 following two seasons on Will Wade's staff at Chattanooga. Goldin also served as strength and conditioning coach under Steve Prohm at Murray State during the 2012-13 season.

"Greg is one of the biggest reasons we were able to make so much progress at Chattanooga. He really understands what goes into the mindset and our style of play," Wade said. "His knowledge in the weight room, conditioning and nutrition will be huge assets to our program."

During his tenure at VCU, Goldin has spearheaded the program's efforts to integrate technological advancements in player wellness analytics, as well as devise a strength and conditioning routine to suit the Rams' aggressive style of play. Goldin served as graduate assistant under former VCU strength coach Daniel Roose during the 2011-12 campaign and aided the Rams' march to a CAA Championship and NCAA Tournament berth.

A native of Ilion, New York, Goldin is a 2011 graduate of Canisius College, where he received a degree in health and physical education, as well as health and human performance.

Goldin married the former Meredith Mullins on June 18, 2016. They reside in Richmond.
