Graham invited to NBA Draft Combine in Chicago

RICHMOND, Va. – The Freight Train is headed to the Windy City.

Senior Treveon Graham of the VCU men's basketball team has been invited to the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago next week.

"I'm extremely blessed for this opportunity to showcase my skills. My teammates and coaches have pushed me every day for the past four years and they've helped me get to this point and be granted this opportunity," Graham said. "I'm just looking to show them everything that I can do and that I'm willing to do whatever it takes to help the team win."

The Temple Hills, Md. native helped lead the Rams to their fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and first-ever Atlantic 10 Championship. During his career, VCU piled up 108 wins, the third most all-time.

This season, Graham led the team in scoring for the second straight season with 16.2 points per game. He also was the leading rebounder at 7.1 boards per night, while shooting 42.8-percent from the field and 38.1-percent from long range.

He finished his career as the only player in VCU history with over 1,800 points, 800 rebounds and 200 3-pointers.

While at the combine players will undergo full medical examinations including physicals and interviews with specific teams. They also have the option of participating in individual and group drills.

The event runs from May 14th-16th and hosts scouts, along with executives from all over the league.
